The traditional Laguna Clean Jamboree, which will take place for the sixth time this year, will bring together friends at Atanasovsko Lake or Atanas the Avocet at a special Earth Day event on April 22nd. The theme of Earth Day "Restore our planet", so the participants will restore the area of the Avocet Trail and the Hide for bird watching on Atanasovsko Lake.

The team of the LIFE project "Lagoon of Life" relies on the participation of volunteers and citizens who want to go out in nature and join the traditional April campaign LAGUNA CLEAN JAMBOREE # 6 to clean the area, to mow the grass, to restore and install the destroyed and uprooted signs, as well as to repair the observatories.

The action will be held on April 22, 2021 (Thursday) in two parts - morning and afternoon (from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00) in the southern part of Atanasovsko Lake (at the roundabout at the exit of Burgas in the direction of Sarafovo - just before the Lukoil gas station).

"We hope with joint efforts to prepare the Avocet Trail for the upcoming season, when hundreds of residents and guests of the city will visit the area to be closer to nature, to watch birds or to rest, because during the pandemic the area became especially popular and enjoys great public interest. We will clean the Hide inside and out and install information boards for visitor routes in the area. We will start with the renovation of the "Egg" observatory, whose boards are quite shabby, but we believe that we will return to its previous salty shine." - share the organizers of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation.

The action is organized within the LIFE project "Lagoon of Life", which is implemented by BBF, BSPB, Black Sea Salinas Ltd. and Zaedno 2011.
