The young people from the Interact Club Burgas and their mentors from the Rotary Club Burgas-Pyrgos held an action on Saturday to repair the Pavilion in front of the Bird Watching Hide. More than 20 people gathered, who throughout the day helped with repairs, cleaning, mowing grass, etc.

The Pavilion is a favourite resting place on the Avocet Trail, but over a year ago vandals destroyed part of its roof and we didn't have the funds to repair it. Today, thanks to the Interact Club's project "Reviving the Avocet Trail", this repair has become possible and the Pavilion is "lit" again. It was built by RIEW Burgas nearly 20 years ago, and despite repeated attempts to destroy it, it has survived and sheltered thousands of visitors to Atanasovsko Lake.

Thank you for the support of the Burgas-Pirgos Rotary Club, who, like us, felt the magic of this place, located at the exit of the city, in the direction of Sarafovo, where it is always cool and interesting, you can watch hundred of birds or just drink a coffee at the Pavilion in front of the Hide.
