Salt worker for one day was the biggest attraction during the Festival
With a glass of cold wine in the hall was opened the exhibition SALT II, ​​which is in three parts - SALT 1 - WATER with watercolors rust, created by the different salinity waters of the Burgas Lakes and the Black Sea; SALT 2 - next to canvases painted with salt instead of paints and SOL 3 - Limit of water, which brings salt and deletes. "We are salty beings .... live in a world full of salts, live life to the taste of salt, look for the salt of life .... "- said the young author Mariana Sarbova during the opening.

The festival, which is held on the banks of the lagoon Lake Atanasovsko continue with culinary tasting and all guests were fascinated by the new gourmet temptations salt harvested only a week ago from the lake, prepared by Culinary School "Antre". Most exciting was the experience were baskets with toffee cream, sprinkled with pink salt, but also caramel cookies with nuts and salty crackers. Everybody received a detailed recipe to prepare temptations at home.

While the children were engaged in bio games - made bars of salt and birds, the adults fly kites on the beach or creating giant art bird by papier mache, elderly melted in pools with brine and daubed with mud and curious haggling Burgas salt, cosmetics with our liquor, t-shirts, badges and even determinants of birds.

Also in the hall among the pile of salt had mounted an unusual original installation Think Forward, called SALGHT, which explores the interaction of light with salt and qualities of salt as material for product design. Galina Milkova (architect) and Nedko Nikolov (designer) of Think Forward start a new venture - research and interpretation of typical local productions and products, the first of which is just salt.

The second part of the Festival of salt complete the music band "Acoustic Point" against the setting sun over the lake, a pack of hungry mosquitoes and incredible vocal performances of Mariana.

Team of the "Salt of life" thanks to all who participated in the festival, especially those who came to the event by bicycle or on foot, and all artists and volunteers who helped festival to happen in this relaxing and very pleasant way.
