The Art Instalation of the Avocet Trail has a new lease of life thanks to Re:Bazaar sponsors

In April, during the Re:Bazaar "Green Waves" at Mall Galleria Burgas, the BBF was the Green Guest and presented the donation initiative: "Let's renew the Avocet Trail". Thus, thanks to the organizers of the event and the generosity of the participating companies and visitors, 1,476 leva was raised

On September 11, 2025, the renovated Avocet Trail on the shore of Atanasovsko Lake was officially opened at an exciting two-part ceremony. After it was created in 2015 by the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation team, the Trail has undergone several changes over the past decade, including the replacement of broken signs, the installation of new observation points, and the refurbishment of the surrounding area. Over the decade, the trail has become particularly popular among the residents of Burgas, with more and more people rediscovering it every year.
